Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at New York City's Largest Annual Street Festival

Downtown Manhattan, NYC — Get ready to paint the town green as Stone Street in the Financial District is back with the massive annual St. Patrick’s Day street festival on March 16th and 17th; two days of outdoor partying, with street food, green margaritas, Irish beer, live music, and high energy to kick off the spring season.
Once known for being a stretch of mostly Irish pubs, Stone Street naturally has a decades long tradition of hosting some of the best and biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the city. While the cuisines and concepts of the street’s restaurants and bars have broadened, much of the original owners are still the same, and so St. Paddy’s on Stone Street has continued to flourish and grown into the biggest yearly St. Patrick’s Day party in New York City, drawing thousands of visitors each year to partake in the revelry.
As per usual, the massive block party is free to attend and kicks off at noon both days and continues until midnight, or later if the crowds haven’t dispersed by then! The street will be lined with at least a dozen different outdoor bars and food vendors set up under tents along the pedestrian-only cobblestone street.
Food sold includes Irish pub classics, Cuban empanadas, Mexican street food, pizza by the slice, and more. For beverages you can expect to see green margaritas, frozen drinks, jello shots, beers on draft, including green beers, Guinness, and other Irish and St. Patrick’s Day specialties, as well as non-alcoholic options.
And don’t miss out on the live music performances on stage at Ulysses’ by Irish bands Canny Brothers Band (Sat 6-10 PM); Colin Smith & Emmett O’Malley (Sun 5-8 PM); Tony DeMarco & Fergus Begley (Sun 2-5 PM); and Padriag Allen & The McLean Avenue Band (Sat 2-5 PM). Just like the rest of the street festval, there is no admission or cover fee to see the bands — but we do recommend coming early as it tends to get full fast.
